Button-Down Sport Shirt In Lavender/Hunter Wide Stripe Oxford

It’s hard to come up with something more classic than an OCBD. Ours is made of beefy, American-style oxford cloth — from Portugal; go figure — in a very spirited stripe. It’s got a soft, nonfused button-down collar with just the right amount of “bloom,” plus an extra button at the back of the collar, which is an old-school detail originally designed to keep your tie in place. (We just like the way it looks.) As always, the cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a long-enough-to-stay-tucked-in shirttail. (Sid likes it this way, but you can always get it shortened.) It’s made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
